Die Indiworx oHG nimmt den Schutz Ihrer persönlichen Daten sehr ernst. Wir behandeln Ihre personenbezogenen Daten vertraulich und entsprechend der gesetzlichen Datenschutzvorschriften sowie dieser Datenschutzerklärung.

Diese Datenschutzerklärung gilt für unsere mobile iOS- und Android App AstroWorx (im Folgenden „App“). In ihr werden Art, Zweck und Umfang der Datenerhebung im Rahmen der App-Nutzung erläutert.

Wir weisen darauf hin, dass die Datenübertragung im Internet Sicherheitslücken aufweisen kann. Ein lückenloser Schutz der Daten vor dem Zugriff durch Dritte ist nicht möglich.

Verantwortliche Stelle

„Verantwortliche Stelle“ ist die Stelle, die personenbezogene Daten (z.B. Name, E-Mail-Adressen o. Ä.) erhebt, verarbeitet oder nutzt.

Welche personenbezogenen Daten werden erfasst?

Personenbezogene Daten sind Daten, die Rückschlüsse auf Ihre Person zulassen (z.B. E-Mail-Adresse, Name, IP-Adresse, u.Ä.).

Personenbezogene Daten können im Rahmen der App-Nutzung insbesondere auf folgende Weise erhoben werden:

1. Automatische Datenerfassung bei Verwendung der App (technische Informationen)
2. Sie geben die Daten selbst ein (z.B. Anlegen einer Benutzerkennung, über das Kontaktformular auf der Website oder indem Sie die Feedback-Funktion nutzen).
3. Ihre Daten werden aufgrund der Zugriffsrechte, welche diese App erfordert und welche Sie in den Systemeinstellungen Ihres Geräts erteilt haben, erfasst (z.B. Standortbestimmung).

Automatische Datenerfassung bei Verwendung der App (nur iOS)

Wenn Sie die App mit aktivierter Synchronisierung verwenden, werden von Ihrem Gerät automatisch verschiedene Informationen technischer Art an den Synchronisierungsserver übertragen (Serverstandort: Deutschland). Dies ist aus technischen Gründen erforderlich, um Ihnen als Benutzer den Synchronisierungs-Service anzubieten.

Es handelt sich um folgende Daten:

• IP-Adresse Ihres mobilen Geräts

Diese Daten werden nicht ohne Ihre Genehmigung weiter gegeben.

Daten die Sie innerhalb der App eingeben

AstroWorx-Cloud Benutzerkonto (nur iOS)

Um Horoskop-Daten zwischen Ihrem iOS Endgeräten zu synchronisieren, bieten wir Ihnen das freiwillige Anlegen eines Benutzerkontos an. Die App kann auch ohne Benutzerkonto in vollem Funktionsumfang genutzt werden, soweit keine Synchronisierung gewünscht ist.

Um ein AstroWorx-Cloud Konto anzulegen, wird eine gültige E-Mail-Adresse, ein Benutzername und ein Passwort benötigt. Die E-Mail-Adresse wird ausschließlich zum Zweck der Funktion „Passwort zurücksetzen“ verwendet.

Sobald Sie sich registriert haben, werden alle lokalen Horoskop-Daten und Einstellungen der App verschlüsselt an den Server übertragen.

Zur Umsetzung der Synchronisierung werden Leistungen der Hetzner GmbH, Serverstandort Deutschland, genutzt.

Datenverarbeitung ab AstroWorx Version 6.0 (nur Android)

Ab Version 6.0 der AstroWorx-App für Android erfolgt die Speicherung und Synchronisierung Ihrer Daten über die Firebase-Plattform von Google mit Serverstandort Frankfurt am Main (Deutschland/EU). Firebase ist ein Dienst der Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland.

Um die App nutzen zu können, ist die Registrierung eines Benutzerkontos erforderlich. Dazu wird eine gültige E-Mail-Adresse, ein Benutzername und ein Passwort benötigt. Die E-Mail-Adresse dient ausschließlich dem Zweck „Passwort zurücksetzen“. Ihre Daten (einschließlich Horoskop-Daten und App-Einstellungen) werden verschlüsselt gespeichert und ausschließlich zur Nutzung innerhalb der App verwendet.

Die Datenübertragung erfolgt verschlüsselt. Die Speicherung und Verarbeitung der Daten erfolgt gemäß den geltenden Datenschutzbestimmungen der EU (insbesondere DSGVO).

Die iOS-Version der App verwendet weiterhin das bestehende Synchronisierungssystem über Server der Hetzner GmbH mit Standort in Deutschland.

Horoskop-Daten

AstroWorx bietet die Möglichkeit, personelle Daten innerhalb der App zu erfassen und zu speichern. Dazu gehören insbesondere: Name, Geburtsdatum, Geburtszeit, Geburtsort, Geschlecht, Wohnort und ähnliche Angaben, die zur Berechnung und Darstellung von Horoskopen notwendig sind.

iOS-Version
In der iOS-Version der App werden diese Horoskop-Daten lokal auf Ihrem mobilen Gerät gespeichert. Falls Sie sich ein Sychronisierungskonto angelegt haben und dieses benutzen, werden diese Horoskop-Daten an unseren Server übertragen.

Android-Version (ab AstroWorx Version 6.0)
In der Android-Version ab Version 6.0 ist ein Benutzerkonto erforderlich. Ihre Horoskop-Daten werden in diesem Fall verschlüsselt an die Firebase-Plattform (Serverstandort Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland/EU) übertragen und dort gespeichert. Die Daten dienen ausschließlich der Nutzung innerhalb der App, insbesondere zur Synchronisierung zwischen Geräten und zur Sicherung Ihrer Inhalte. Eine Nutzung der App ohne Konto und ohne Speicherung der Daten auf Firebase ist nicht möglich.

Feedback senden

Sofern Sie in der App die Funktion „Feedback senden“ verwenden, werden Ihre Angaben durch die auf Ihrem Gerät installierte E-Mail-App versendet. Diese Daten werden in dieser E-Mail-App verarbeitet, und darüber hinaus werden die von Ihnen angegeben Daten von der Indiworx oHG zum Zweck der Bearbeitung gespeichert.

Sofern Sie die AstroWorx iOS-App nutzen und nicht die System-E-Mail-App verwenden, wird ein Kontaktformular im Internet aufgerufen. Die Verarbeitung der in das Kontaktformular eingegebenen Daten setzt Ihre Einwilligung voraus. Sie können eine von Ihnen erteilte Einwilligung jederzeit widerrufen. Die Rechtmäßigkeit der bereits erfolgten Datenverarbeitungsvorgänge bleibt vom Widerruf unberührt.

Ihre Daten werden von der Indiworx oHG nicht ohne Ihre Einwilligung weiter gegeben.

Zugriffsrechte der App

Um die volle Funktionsfähigkeit der App zu nutzen, muss die App berechtigt sein, verschiedene Funktionen Ihres Endgeräts zu nutzen. Dazu ist es erforderlich, dass Sie bestimmte Berechtigungen erteilen.

Soweit Sie Berechtigungen erteilt haben, werden diese wie nachfolgend beschrieben innerhalb der App genutzt:

Standortbestimmung

Die Erfassung der Standortkoordinaten erfolgt zu folgendem Zweck: Zur exakten Bestimmung Ihres Standorts für die Astrouhr. Die ermittelten Standortdaten werden in der App sofort verarbeitet und nicht abgespeichert.

Zur Nutzung der Standortdienste müssen diese auf Ihrem mobilen Gerät aktiviert sein.

Sobald Sie das erste mal die Astrouhr starten, wird der Zugriff auf die Standortinformationen abgefragt. Eine Bestätigung gewährt der App den Zugriff auf Ihre Standortinformationen. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, die Berechtigung zur Standortbestimmung zu verwehren.

Nur für iOS: Zur Bestimmung der Adresse des Standorts wird über den Kartendienst von Apple (iOS) versucht, Ihre Koordinaten umzuwandeln. Dabei wird dem Anbieter dieses Kartendienstes Ihre Standortinformation (Längen-, Breitengrad) übermittelt.

Kamera

Die App beinhaltet eine Funktion, die es erlaubt, mit AstroWorx/Galiastro erstellte QR-Codes mit der Smartphone-Kamera zu scannen. Diese QR-Codes ermöglichen den Austausch von AstroWorx- und Galiastro-Geburtshoroskopen. Die gescannten Daten werden nur innerhalb der App verwendet und nicht an Dritte weiter gegeben.

Für diese Funktion benötigt AstroWorx die Berechtigung, auf die Kamera zugreifen zu dürfen.

Online Ort- und Zeitzonen-Bestimmung

AstroWorx beinhaltet eine Funktion, die Orte und Zeitzonen für Koordinaten ermittelt. Dafür wird ein Zugriff auf Internetdienste (Mobile Daten, WiFi) benötigt.

Der verwendete Service für die Datenbestimmung wird von geonames.org bereitgestellt. Dazu werden bei der Ort-Bestimmung folgende Daten an geonames übermittelt: Bezeichnung des gesuchten Orts, eingestellte Sprache des verwendeten Endgeräts. Bei der Ermittlung der Zeitzone für Koordinaten werden die Koordinaten (Längen-/Breitengrade) an geonames übermittelt.

Zugriff auf Gerätespeicher/Fotos/Medien/Dateien

AstroWorx beinhaltet die Funktion, Radix-Grafiken oder PDFs zu exportieren. Um Ihr exportiertes Dokument zu speichern, wird je nach Zielort eine Berechtigung von der App benötigt.

Kartendienste

Google Maps

Diese App nutzt über eine API den Kartendienst Google Maps. Anbieter ist die Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Zur Nutzung der Funktionen von Google Maps ist es notwendig, Ihre IP Adresse zu speichern. Diese Informationen werden in der Regel an einen Server von Google in den USA übertragen und dort gespeichert. Der Anbieter dieser App hat keinen Einfluss auf diese Datenübertragung.

Die Nutzung von Google Maps erfolgt im Interesse einer ansprechenden Darstellung und einer gebrauchstauglichen Nutzung in der App.

Apple Maps

Widerspruch Werbe-Mails

Der Nutzung von im Rahmen der Impressumspflicht veröffentlichten Kontaktdaten zur Übersendung von nicht ausdrücklich angeforderter Werbung und Informationsmaterialien wird hiermit widersprochen. Die Betreiber der App behalten sich ausdrücklich rechtliche Schritte im Falle der unverlangten Zusendung von Werbeinformationen, etwa durch Spam-E-Mails, vor.

Änderung dieser Datenschutzerklärung

Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, diese Datenschutzbestimmungen unter Einhaltung der gesetzlichen Vorgaben jederzeit zu ändern.

Indiworx oHG takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations, including in this data protection declaration.

This privacy policy applies to our mobile iOS and Android app AstroWorx (hereinafter „app“). It explains the type, purpose and scope of data collection in the context of app use.

We point out that data transmission over the Internet can have security loopholes. It is not possible to fully protect data from third-party access.

What data is being collected?

Personal data is data which allow conclusions to be drawn about your person (e.g. email address, name, IP address, etc.).

Personal data may be collected as part of the use of the app, in particular in the following manner:

1. Automatic data collection when using the app (technical information)
2. You enter the data yourself (e.g. creating a user ID, via the contact form on the website or by using the feedback function).
3. Your data is collected based on the access rights this app requires and which you have granted in your device’s system settings (e.g. location).

Automatic data capture when using the app (iOS only)

When you use the app with synchronisation, your device automatically transfers various technical information to the synchronisation server (server location: Germany). This is necessary for technical reasons to offer you the AstroWorx synchronisation service.

The data is as follows:

• IP address of your mobile device

This information will not be shared without your permission.

Data you enter within the app

AstroWorx-Cloud user account (iOS only)

To synchronise horoscope data between your iOS devices, we offer you the voluntary creation of a user account. The app can also be used without a user account, as long as synchronisation is not required.

A valid email address, user name and password are required to create an AstroWorx Cloud account. The email address is used exclusively for the purpose of the „Reset password“ function.

As soon as you have registered, all local horoscope data and settings of the app are transferred to the server in encrypted form.

The services of Hetzner GmbH, server location Germany, are used to implement the synchronisation.

Data Processing from AstroWorx Version 6.0 (Android Only)

Starting with version 6.0 of the AstroWorx app for Android, your data is stored and synchronized via Google’s Firebase platform, with servers located in Frankfurt am Main (Germany/EU). Firebase is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

To use the app, a user account is required. For this, a valid email address, a username, and a password are needed. The email address is used solely for the purpose of „password reset.“ Your data (including horoscope data and app settings) is stored in encrypted form and used exclusively within the app.

Data transmission is encrypted. The storage and processing of data are carried out in accordance with applicable EU data protection regulations (in particular the GDPR).

The iOS version of the app continues to use the existing synchronization system via servers of Hetzner GmbH located in Germany.

Horoscope Data

AstroWorx allows you to enter and store personal data within the app. This includes, in particular: name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, gender, place of residence, and similar information necessary for the calculation and display of horoscopes.

iOS Version
In the iOS version of the app, these horoscope data are stored locally on your mobile device. If you have created a synchronization account and use it, these horoscope data will be transmitted to our server.

Android Version (from AstroWorx Version 6.0)
In the Android version from version 6.0 onward, a user account is required. In this case, your horoscope data is transmitted in encrypted form to the Firebase platform (server location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany/EU) and stored there. The data is used exclusively within the app, particularly for synchronization between devices and to back up your content. It is not possible to use the app without an account and without storing the data on Firebase.

Send feedback

If you use the „Send feedback“ function in the app, your details will be sent through the e-mail app installed on your device. This data will be processed in this email app and, in addition, the data you provide will be stored by Indiworx oHG for the purpose of processing.

If you use the AstroWorx iOS app and do not use the system email app, a contact form will be called up on the Internet. The processing of the data entered in the contact form requires your consent. You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

Your data will not be passed on by Indiworx oHG without your consent.

Access rights of the app

In order to use the full functionality of the app, the app must be authorised to use various functions of your mobile device. To do this, you must grant certain permissions.

If you have granted permissions, these will be used within the app as described below:

Determining location

The location coordinates are recorded for the following purpose: To determine your exact location for the astro clock. The location data determined is processed immediately in the app and not saved.

To use the location services, they must be activated on your mobile device.

As soon as you start the astro clock for the first time, access to the location information is requested. The app gives you access to your location information. It is possible to deny permission to determine location.

For iOS only: Apple’s map service (iOS) attempts to convert your coordinates to determine the location address. Your location information (longitude, latitude) is transmitted to the provider of this map service.

Camera

The app includes a function that allows scanning QR codes created with AstroWorx/Galiastro with the smartphone camera. These QR codes allow the exchange of AstroWorx and Galiastro birth horoscopes. The scanned data will only be used within the app and will not be passed on to third parties.

For this function AstroWorx needs permission to access the camera.

Online location and time zone determination

AstroWorx contains a function that determines locations and time zones for coordinates. This requires access to Internet services (mobile data, WiFi).

The service used to determine the data is provided by geonames.org. For this purpose, the following data is transmitted to geonames when determining the location: name of the location searched for, set language of the mobile device used. When determining the time zone for coordinates, the coordinates (longitude/latitude) are transmitted to geonames.

Access to device memory/photos/media/files

AstroWorx includes the function to export radix graphics or PDFs. To save your exported document, permission from the app is required, depending on the destination.

Map services

Google Maps

Information, blocking, deletion

As permitted by law, you have the right to be provided at any time with information free of charge about any of your personal data that is stored as well as its origin, the recipient and the purpose for which it has been processed. You also have the right to have this data corrected, blocked or deleted. Right to file complaints with regulatory authorities

If there has been a breach of data protection legislation, the person affected may file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities.
